In the mist of planning this year Mother’s Day family gathering, I managed to tried a new recipe Grapefruit Salad. I’ve seen the recipe in many of my cookbook but never thought about trying until last week when the grapefruit at Smart & Final was on sale. The most time consuming part was sectioning the grapefruit but doing so while watching my Thai Lakorn was a breeze. Grapefruit with Grilled Shrimp Salad  Hectic, exhausted, fun. I’m still recovering from all these emotions. This year I get to somewhat host the event at a park near home. My contribution was Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce and some cucumber relish. I spent Saturday making it and putting my list of “things-to-take” to the park so that I don’t forget anything. Sure enough there was still some minor items that didn’t make it on the first trip.
