I was snacking on some chips when I thought about making salsa. It so happened that I also had a nice mango sitting in the fridge so why not make it a Mango Salsa? Tomatoes and jalapenos were freshly picked from my garden. Onions and cilantro are also available in the fridge. Mango Salsa
(Sala Svai) សាលសាស្វាយ
Ingredients
1 large firm-ripe mango, diced
5 jalapenos, diced
2 medium size ripe tomatoes, diced
¼ onion, diced (yellow or purple)
1 juiced lime
a handful cilantro, roughly chopped
½ tablespoon kosher salt
½ tablespoon black pepper
Method:
In a large mixing bowl combine everything together. Toss then taste and adjust accordingly. Yup, it’s that easy. Allow to sit for at least 30 minutes in the fridge so that the flavors get a chance to mingle. Enjoy and store remainder in the fridge.
