I don’t know when the article was dated but they did reference his current Lakorn at that time which was Plerng See Rong. I’m guessing the incident happened probably the end of last year, 2009.

I skim over the Thai article briefly and it mentions spotting Smart with a girl (Chinese-looking) enjoying food and drinks along the road in a province called “Mae Hong Sorn”?. Also witness reported that they saw them probably shared the same Hotel, then morning they came out together to enjoy breakfast. It also mentioned that although in Lakorn Smart portray a not so nice guy (not a gentlemen), he is definitely different in real life.
