Khmer Song | Love Diary

Let’s step out of the kitchen and take a short break from cooking to enjoy this video I just made. :)   All images was acquire through Google search and edit by me. I also added some Khmer words to go along just in case my vocals isn’t clear.  This song was recorded awhile back so the audio quality isn’t so great.

It’s the Khmer version of a hit Chinese song called “Ci She Pen” by Kelly Chan. There’s also a Lao version with a different meaning but I love that too. Perhaps it’s available in many other languages as well. I just have not discover them yet.

Hope you enjoy my song  and my video. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Public Enemies (2009)

It was just too hot to stay home so we decided to hide out at the movies. Nothing (at least in my opinion) that I desperately wanted to watch. The movie titles/time board were filled with Harry Potter.. geeezh <=== yeah I’m not a fan, so bite me :D

‘The Taking of Pelham 123′ was no longer showing so we went ahead with Public Enemy not remembering what it is about until the movie started. This is the one starring what’s his name oh, Johnny Deep and Christian Bale (I call him Batman because he was in the first Batman movie I saw in the theater  ) . Uhhh I thought this movie was too slow. The way Christian Bale spoke in the movie reminded me President Bush. It’s that accent and tone.  Does anybody else agree with me? :D However I thought the scene in the woods was cool. A lot of gun battle. I know it’s base on a true story because the trailer said so but I still was hoping for something good. I’m not going to spoil it for those who are still planning to watch it but I wouldn’t recommend it. Maybe wait until it comes on DVD. I like Valkyrie with Tom Cruise more than this. :(

I’m looking forward to next week when G-force is out. :)

Sakul Ka | Family of Crows

Opening Credits:  Watch on Youtube
Starring:  Mos Pattiparn Pattaweegan & Vill Wannaros Sontichai also featuring Ann Alicia

Thai Lakorn: Sakul Ka

Thai Lakorn: Sakul Ka

This Lakorn finished airing like a week ago and I just finished watching it last night.  I knew it was coming to an end but it was not one of those Lakorn where I need to watch it the moment it was out. Why? Because it would have gone too quickly since most of the time I just fast forward. LOL

I had a lot of anticipation when this Lakorn was set to air after Buang Ruk Kamatape (starring: Bee Namtip & Pong Nattawut; a very good Lakorn, I highly recommend). Perhaps because I know it is a remake. I’m a sucker for remakes because I am curious to know if they are going to make changes to the storyline or if the new pairing is better than the first version. This is one of those titles that I don’t quiet remember the storyline so when I read the synopsis, it was a bit fuzzy. You can read the summary/synopsis on Sarnworld Wiki. Sakul Ka in Khmer translate to “Trokol Ka’ek”. The old version that came out I think around the early 90s holds the same title and was dubbed in Khmer as well.

Ok, my comments about this Lakorn? Don’t watch it. Skip it unless you are a die-hard fan of Mos or Vill. Vill character cries every freakin 5 minutes! It was just so annoying. I’m not making this up, you just watch and count the clock LOL She used up her pity points that even during the life & death scene I still wasn’t feeling her character. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Lakorn where they make the N’ek this weak all the way even until the ending, the last few seconds she still cries, WTH? Well, that’s how I feel.  Also I thought I was mean wanting her character to die but turns out I wasn’t the only one :D yeah, it’s that bad. I was even rooting for the mean girl played by Ann Alicia to b*tch slap her cuz she deserves it and maybe she will come to her sense. LOL I don’t think the old version was this bad. Maybe the director/screen writer is trying to prove a point? Why did I kept watching until the end? Well the storyline isn’t that bad. It’s quite interesting. It’s Vill character, the only character I find annoying.

Watch it if you have dry eyes, maybe Vill crying scene will make you pity for her and cry along making  your eyes naturally wet. This is the first and last time I am watching any of Vill’s Lakorn. Unless she get a better and stronger role then I just MIGHT consider it.
