My Mother makes Cambodian Sausage known in Khmer as Kwah-Ko for sale. Currently she sells them to the locals in Stockton, CA. Her sales are done by word of mouth. I would like to help my Mother by extending her sales to those that lives out of town and are interested in purchasing them. For the curious mind, these sausages are made with beef with a blend Khmer spices.
She makes them on a regular basis to accommodate the locals last minute demands. Sometime she gets large orders especially when her customers has visitors from out of town. It’s like an edible souvenirs from California.
It makes a very easy and tasty lunch at the office. So share it among your friends, families and even neighbors, if they are nice.
Here’s an in-dept detail information.

I ordered some sausages the other day, they came pretty quickly and were delicious.
I comment on this in KC. I have never had this sausage and I’m afraid to purchase such a large quantity considering that I don’t have anyone around to share it with. Just me and the mister but he doesn’t eat Asian food. I am still trying to get people to share the purchase with me, so, I should be placing an order soon. I can’t wait!
Kera,
The holidays are here and perhaps you will be gathering with friends and family. This will make a great gift or a party item in addition to turkey.
I was just thinking that. I will be visiting family for the holiday and that sounds good. Ok I was thinking of sending you a money order since I get it free at my job. Let me know where I should send it to you.
Wow, after reading all these great comments about the khmer sausage, I now want to see how it really taste?
After reading all these comments my mouth started salivating lol. I will have to try some out soon! I like mines sour can anybody tell me if these are the sweet ones or sour ones? I bought some at a Khmer store in Long Beach and it was disgusting so I’ve been looking for somebody that can make really good ones.
Jacqueline,
My Mother DOES NOT make the sweet sausage. She only makes the sour kind but not too sour. They are just right. However, for those who prefer them even more sour, you can leave it outside another day or two before storing them in the freezer. It will continue to get sour.
Hi,
I’m wondering about an order for the kwa-ko and trey ngeat that I had ordered since November 22nd. I am in the east coast, can you give me some ideas when it is going to be here? I love your website by the way. I can’t wait for the sausage to get here.
Thank you.
Sitha,
Your order was received and since last week was a holiday the post office was closed on one of the weekdays. Instead of having perishable sit and wait at the post office we decided that it is best to save shipping for this week. Your order went out on Monday and I will be emailing you the tracking and additional information this evening. Thank you very much!
i grew up making these because my mom use to sell them at our local tacoma khmer market. but im very curious as to how delicious yours are. i will be ordering some in the next couple weeks.
can you ship to seattle, washington?
Sue,
We ship any where within the US. Estimated shipping time to Seattle, WA is 2-4 business days.
hello i live in modesto i want to buy some kwak ko… but can you deliver? i will pay cash a little extra… but i dont want to deliver because i want to pay cash. please and thank you. i would like this weekend for a family suprise dinner.
Linda,
Unfortunately, my parent are unable to deliver outside of Stockton because they are not too familiar with the streets. If you would like you can arrange for pick up. There will be no additional (shipping) charge and you can also pay with cash. Just let me know what time is best for you and I can have my Mother prepare your package.
This site is the best, stop buying thai product and support local authenic khmer made food. I’m going to order some too.
Phearom,
I look forward to processing your order soon.
Thanks for the advertisement.
I was going to make some of these from a recipe in a cookbook I have (The Elephant Walk) but I wanted to look up some other recipes and compare.
Instead I found your website and realized why try to make them when I can buy them from an expert. I haven’t had any in years and I can’t wait to try these! I live in Los Angeles so I hope they get here soon! Thanks.
Hi! i’m interested in ordering some, but would you e-mail me and let me know how much it would cost to ship express – like next day air.
If that is not possible, do you think it will still be good after the 2-3 day shipping?
Thanks so much.
Sokear,
If you wish to take advantage of this coming Monday shipment, you can place your order between now and this Saturday.
For express mail (2 days since there is no next day air service) the estimated cost is about $35. My Mother ships out all order on Monday and it usually takes 2-3 business days to get to the destination. As you can see from the comments, we have had no problems with the product (sausage) during transit.
hi will you deliver i live in modesto i mean will you drive here… i dont want to pay online and etc. i will pay for delivery thanks… i would if so email me. thank you.
[...] for more Cambodian sausage recipes and to see if they were all similar. Instead, I stumbled upon a site that was selling homemade saik krok! Actually, she called them kwah ko and I’m not quite sure what that means. In Khmer, saik [...]
Mmm! I’ve already had way too many. Thanks! Will buy again once I run out.

Will the sausages be ready to pick up in the evening? Thanks we want 50! So tempted to get 100 but 50 for now is good Ok nvm we want 100 for sure! Confirm it with us if this is possible! holy moly i am hungry.
After reading all the reviews, I’m dying to try some. But I live in Puerto Rico. Can you deliver here? If not, I can wait until I visit my parents in Philly for New Year.
Sokhan,
As much as I would love to ship it out to you I’m not sure about this route. I know it’s part of the US territory but there might just be some customs or takes longer than usual. To play it safe I say we wait until you are in Philly.
No problem. I’ll wait and share with my daddy.
this was awesome..i always wanted to know how to make it n it taste soo good..
I have a question.. does ur sausage comes in a packet or do you just make them and put them in the box and ship them out? if u have a picture of the packet please send me a copy to my email. cuz my aunt had send me some sausage and i think they were the khmai brand so if they are the same i would like to order them.
As mentioned, these sausage are homemade and they will be ship package (home style) and securely in the box. This is not to mean that we just dump the sausage in the box.
Man I am excited, and they are the sour ones too!!! My aunt in Oakland used to make them and the cambodian spots in Oakland only has the sweet ones with big chunks of garlic in them! Just put my order and excited!
I was wondering if there is a tracking number for usps, so I can checkup on my order.
Hi Bong, I was just wondering if you can ship to Alaska? I have been craving for this. I am sure it will not perish. the 2-3 day shipping actually gets to Alaska on time, because it is US state i think. Please let me know, I would really love some.
Elizabeth,
Yes we can ship to Alaska since it is part of the US and via priority it should take about 2-3 days to get to you.
